Manager, SMB Sales - REMOTE - job 1 of 2

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, SMB Sales. This role is pivotal in leading a high-performing sales team focused on outside direct sales within a specific geographic area. Your ability to inspire and energize your team will directly influence overall productivity and success metrics. In this dynamic environment, you will establish and oversee sales plans that align with high expectations for performance and service excellence, driving both individual and team achievements while fostering a positive work culture.


Accountabilities
  • Increase market share by achieving and exceeding performance targets related to subscribers, revenue, and churn.
  • Meet or exceed overall sales quota for the assigned region.
  • Implement key operational initiatives in the field while upholding high ethical standards.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular sales meetings to maintain team focus and motivation.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a successful team of Account Executives, ensuring ongoing support and development.


Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 4-7 years of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience in a commissioned environment.
  • 2 years of people management experience.
  • 2 years of experience in telecommunications/technical sales.
  • Strong coaching skills with the ability to conduct difficult conversations.
  • Proficiency in delivering presentations to both large groups and individuals.
  • A proven track record in high-yield business sales success.
  • Well-honed negotiation and closing skills, including strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with basic HR/recruiting processes to attract and retain top sales talent.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on inspiring teams and driving strategic initiatives.
