Inside Sales Manager

We are seeking a driven and strategic Inside Sales Manager to lead a high-performing remote sales team and elevate overall sales execution. In this role, you will coach and develop agents, optimize performance metrics, and ensure members receive exceptional service throughout their experience. You will shape sales strategies, streamline processes, and create a motivating environment that supports continuous improvement. Working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented setting, you will balance leadership, data-driven decision making, and hands-on support. Accountabilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of licensed and unlicensed insurance sales agents to consistently meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Drive performance through metric analysis, targeted improvement strategies, and proactive team engagement.
  • Manage team schedules, timekeeping, staffing coverage, and daily operational flow to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Oversee compliance with insurance regulations and internal policies, ensuring quality and accuracy across all interactions.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development initiatives.
  • Guide agents through coaching, training, skill-building sessions, and real-time support.
  • Address customer escalations with professionalism and ensure a five-star service experience.
  • Stay informed on product updates, carrier changes, and insurance industry developments.
  • Provide occasional off-hours support to maintain business continuity as needed.
Requirements:
  • 100 percent remote role requiring a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace with reliable high-speed internet.
  • Ability to lead independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with strong ownership and accountability.
  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership or sales management experience with a proven record of success.
  • At least 8 years of insurance sales experience, including consistent performance in cross-selling and client retention.
  • Active Personal Lines or Property and Casualty license at the time of hire, plus ability to obtain a state-specific Life Insurance License within one year.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and analytical skills, with the ability to guide remote teams and deliver consistent results.
