Global Development Lead

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Global Development Lead in the United States.

As the Global Development Lead, you will play a central role in guiding the end-to-end development of novel therapeutic products in oncology. You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with internal experts and external partners to ensure programs progress efficiently from early development through to regulatory approval. Your work will involve strategic planning, risk management, and execution oversight, driving alignment across scientific, clinical, and commercial functions. This role offers the opportunity to influence the future of advanced therapies while fostering a high-performance team culture focused on patient impact and operational excellence. You will provide technical leadership, mentor project teams, and ensure robust program execution across multiple global regions.


  • Accountabilities
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance therapeutic development programs.
  • Define program objectives and ensure alignment with strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive product development plans, tracking progress against milestones and budgets.
  • Navigate project risks, issues, and decision points, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Build and maintain team culture, rallying teams around program vision, objectives, and patient impact.
  • Oversee project management practices to ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear communication.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of product positioning, target product profiles, and program activities.
  • Support senior management with program reporting, risk assessments, and scenario planning.

  • Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or PhD strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience, with significant experience in oncology drug development.
  • 5+ years of project and budget management experience, preferably in global, cross-functional teams or co-development partnerships.
  • Prior experience with radioconjugates, antibody-drug conjugates, or complex therapeutic molecules strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements across US, EU, and APAC regions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
