This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Aidoc. We are currently looking for a Director of Clinical Research in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape the clinical research strategy for innovative AI-driven medical solutions. The Director of Clinical Research will oversee a growing team, manage high-impact clinical studies, and ensure the development of robust evidence that supports product validation and adoption. You will work cross-functionally with product, regulatory, marketing, and sales teams while engaging with key opinion leaders and clinical partners. The position requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of clinical research methodologies. You will be responsible for streamlining research processes, improving study efficiency, and driving high-quality publications that advance clinical credibility. The role is ideal for a collaborative, mission-driven professional passionate about improving patient outcomes through clinical evidence.

Accountabilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Clinical Research team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Partner with Regulatory, Product, and Marketing teams to align research initiatives with business objectives.
  • Translate strategic goals into a clinical research roadmap that validates solutions and supports market adoption.
  • Oversee the planning, initiation, execution, and completion of clinical studies, ensuring they drive organizational impact.
  • Implement and optimize research processes, tools, and metrics to enhance quality, efficiency, and transparency.
  • Standardize workflows and best practices across studies to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability.
  • Cultivate relationships with clinical partners, key opinion leaders, and external research stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Clinical Sciences, Health/Life Sciences, Health Economics, or related field; PhD preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing teams in clinical research or scientific environments.
  • Proven track record delivering clinical studies and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Strong expertise in clinical research design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects in fast-paced settings.
  • Exceptional communication and scientific writing skills, including presentations at conferences.
  • Experience with medical or scientific writing and publication processes.
