This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape and drive the strategic growth of a health ingredients business across the United States. In this fully remote role, you’ll lead commercial operations, manage key supplier relationships, and build a high-performing sales team. You'll play a central role in identifying market opportunities, overseeing new product launches, and ensuring the business unit’s profitability and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader ready to take ownership of a thriving, fast-growing sector.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute the strategic growth plan for the Nutraceutical & Pharmaceutical Ingredients division.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Drive new business development through identifying suppliers, product lines, and market opportunities.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and reporting of the business unit.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive dynamics to guide strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver seamless customer experience and optimize operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
  • Mentor and manage team members while aligning business goals with daily execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or related field; MBA or Master's degree is a strong asset.
  • 10–15+ years of commercial leadership experience in the Nutraceutical or Pharmaceutical ingredients industry.
  • Proven success managing a full business unit, including P&L ownership, sales growth, and operational efficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of supplement and pharma ingredients and the US customer landscape.
  • Experience with strategic planning, market analysis, and team development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient with tools such as Salesforce CRM, ERP systems, and KPI dashboards.
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows, client meetings, and internal collaboration (valid passport and driver’s license required).
  • Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and adaptable in dynamic environments.

  • Competitive salary range: $143,200–$223,800 USD plus generous performance-based incentives.
