B2B Event Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a B2B Event Manager in the United States.

The B2B Event Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing in-person and virtual events that drive brand awareness, generate leads, and foster meaningful engagement with employer prospects, consultants, clients, and partners. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, managing everything from event concepting and budgeting to logistics, speaker management, and post-event analysis. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and able to collaborate across marketing, sales, and executive teams. This role requires a creative problem-solver who can deliver measurable business outcomes while representing the organization professionally at industry events. The position is full-time and remote, with travel required for certain events.


  • Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement an annual B2B event strategy aligned with marketing, sales, and brand objectives, including tradeshows, conferences, webinars, and bespoke client events.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, including vendor selection, booth design, collateral, registration, communications, and swag coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify event opportunities that strengthen relationships, increase pipeline, and enhance brand visibility.
  • Oversee speaker and content management, including theme development, speaker selection, presentation preparation, and training.
  • Execute integrated campaigns pre- and post-event to drive engagement, including email campaigns and social media amplification.
  • Track and report on event performance, ROI, and pipeline impact, ensuring budgets are managed efficiently from forecasting to reconciliation.
  • Coordinate internal team participation and preparation for events, ensuring seamless representation across all touchpoints.

  • Requirements:
  • 7+ years of B2B event management experience, preferably within Benefits, SaaS, or Healthcare organizations.
  • Proven track record designing large-scale events and hosting webinars using platforms such as Zoom Webinar.
  • Experience managing budgets, negotiating vendor contracts, and achieving measurable business outcomes through events.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM tools (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar).
  • Strong business operations acumen and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, from prospects to executives.
  • Results-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
