Under the general supervision of the NAMCI Manager, the NAMCI Network Recruitment and Contract Coordinator manages, and monitors the recruitment, contracting and ongoing education outreach for the NAMCI and Comp1One provider network. Functions in collaboration with the provider network team contributing to the company goals and mission to provide a quality workers’ compensation and group health PPO medical delivery system in a cost-effective manner by identifying, contracting with, and educating physicians and allied health professionals across North Alabama and Southern Tennessee.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Nursing or other related field strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in health care marketing, contracting, or a related field, preferably in direct contact with physicians, public relations, or marketing staff.
Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Knowledge of claims processing and the local medical community needed. Must be capable of maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating a high level of analytical ability and awareness of pertinent details. Must be proficient in use of computer, to include word processing applications and have the ability to work successfully with computer programs designed for Premier Health Networks of Alabama (Comp1One and NAMCI).
