Job Description:

Territory Manager (North and South Carolina)

Huntsman is seeking a Territory Manager (North and South Carolina) supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in Arlington, Texas. This position will report to the Regional Sales Director.

Job Scope

This role is responsible for driving wall foam sales, developing strategic business plans, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring competitive market positioning while operating in a safe and ethical manner.

In summary, as the Territory Manager, you will:

  • Drive wall foam sales to contractors and distributors within the assigned territory to achieve annual sales targets.

  • Develop annual business plans that outline activities needed to exceed quota.

  • Meet regularly with clients to deliver the HBS value proposition and gain specifications.

  • Participate in industry and promotional events.

  • Understand pricing and proposal models thoroughly.

  • Conduct intelligent business conversations and influence business owners and decision makers at the contractor, distributor, and specifier level.

  • Develop clear business proposals, negotiate, and execute business deals.

  • Provide regular competitive intelligence updates, including pricing and marketing strategies.

  • Perform administrative tasks such as timely email responses, expense submissions, pricing requests, and performance management.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • No specific education requirement stated.

  • 5+ years of experience in outside sales in the building materials industry.

  • Must live in the Carolinas region (Relocation will NOT be provided).

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.com.

  • Strong problem-solving aptitude.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong collaboration and time-management skills.

  • Sales-oriented and analytical mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Not explicitly stated, but experience in polyurethane or insulation products would be beneficial.

  • Additional sales certifications or industry-specific training.

Working Environment

  • Work-from-home and/or office setting.

  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, crawl, reach, lift, sit, and squat for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

  • Approximately 75% travel required.
