As a Communications Assistant on the Digital Marketing team, you're not just promoting services; you're telling the story of complex projects in a way that resonates with clients and the public. That means using tools like websites, social media, email campaigns, and data-driven strategies to get the message out. You need to be persuasive and thoughtful, highlighting the firm’s strengths while staying tuned in to what clients really need. And since the industry is full of technical language and niche details, having a curious mind that can dig in and translate that into engaging, accessible content is key.

• Assist with concepting, drafting, and creating digital marketing content (including social media, email campaigns, and website posts)
• Support the development of branded marketing materials, corporate branding, and visual design
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather project updates and translate them into marketing content
• Stay current on industry trends and digital marketing best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience required
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and YouTube
• Experience with email marketing platforms
• Familiarity with WordPress or similar web platforms
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Solid communication and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to listen actively and gather information from technical staff
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
• Positive attitude under pressure; strong team player who is responsible, dedicated, and self-motivated
• Ability to manage time effectively, multitask, and thrive in a deadline-driven, collaborative environment
• Interest in civil engineering or technical industries is a plus
