- Ability to prepare compelling commercial materials and investment memoranda
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain commercial theses and executable strategies for target markets/regions
- Lead preparation of bid packages (RFPs/RFIs) for utility-scale solar, storage, and hybrid projects
- Screen developer RFPs and identify projects that match customer needs
- Originate PPAs and alternative offtake structures (VPPAs, BTAs, tolling arrangements) with IOUs, municipals, co-ops, CCAs, and retail aggregators
- Build and manage a customer/target database and maintain regular outreach with key accounts
- Prepare internal approval materials (investment memos, senior management presentations)
- Gather and share market intelligence with development, finance, and M&A teams
- Monitor regulatory filings, participate in proceedings, and support advocacy through industry associations
- Attend industry conferences and customer meetings; travel up to 25% as needed
- Support M&A diligence related to offtake agreements and provide market analysis for transactions
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, risk management, engineering, or related field required
- MBA is a plus
Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $135,000 - $155,000 per year
