Senior Financial Analyst, Technical Infrastructure

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, a related function, or an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with cloud/technical infrastructure.
• Experience working/communicating with executives.
• Experience with Core financial planning and analysis (e.g., forecast, close, and financial reporting).
• Ability to influence and persuade through the use of data.
• Ability to work in an unstructured environment and with ambiguity.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$201,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of Google’s technical infrastructure and the economics of the business.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in helping product area business partners understand and influence their technical infrastructure costs.
• Identify opportunities for product area demand shaping and efficiencies to lead to a more optimal fleet, and lead projects with cross-functional teams, including TI business partners, accounting, corporate finance, product finance, internal audit, systems, and engineering teams.
• Maintain and improve both near term and multi year models for OpEx, CapEx and reporting governance, including AI/ML.
• Cultivate relationships and collaboration across touch points within TI and present to leadership.
