Bilingual Administrative Assistant
The Bilingual Administrative Assistant will provide administrative, secretarial and translation support. Must be extremely skilled in social networking with strong communication skills. For example, if the boss provides a person's name (such as a university professor), the administrative assistant/secretary should have the capability to finally contact, communicate, and arrange a meeting with that individual. Fluency with English and Chinese language required. Remote work is allowed, but onsite work is required when needed, according to arrangement.
Responsibilities:
-Handle various administrative duties. These duties may include responding to telephone or email inquiries, developing and distributing the meeting minutes, company documents, e-mails, maintaining confidential files, coordinating meetings, as well as making travel arrangements and expense reimbursement requests.
-Summarize and translate the content of incoming/outgoing information and materials as assigned.
-Attend meetings as required; take, transcribe and distribute meeting notes; ensure follow-up on action items.
-Gather information and assist in preparing various reports/presentations. Communicate this information as appropriate with the Company.
-Participate in preparing documents/presentations for the mid-term business plan, annual Hoshin strategies and periodic reports.
-Type and design general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, and make appropriate changes. Be responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy as well.
Qualifications:
-Background in Computer Science, graduated from a top university in ivy league with a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral degree.

-International experience or exposure interacting with different overseas cultures and languages is preferred.
-Must have good analytical skills and business acumen combined with advanced administrative experience handling/coordinating projects using various computer software including Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
-English and Chinese Fluency Required: Ability to write reports, business correspondence in both English and Chinese. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
