Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the overall system architecture for Lilaās robotic platforms
- Specify system-level requirements, verification, and validation plans
- Design and maintain clean subsystem interfaces and abstraction layers
- Lead system-level trade studies, architectural reviews, and risk assessments
- Collaborate across hardware, firmware, perception, control, AI, product, and operations teams to enable integration
- Guide safety analyses, functional reliability assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Produce and maintain architectural diagrams, documentation, and design artifacts
- Mentor and coach engineers in systems thinking and architectural best practices
Education
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
