Space Planner/ Analyst
Skills
- Proficiency with Excel for data analysis
- Experience using PowerBI and other visualization tools
- Familiarity with Qualtrics or survey/data-collection platforms
- Ability to translate data into clear visual and verbal narratives
- Comfort working across multiple time zones and with distributed teams
- Willingness to travel and support work outside of region
- Basic coding or scripting experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Analyze space utilization and related datasets to identify institutional space needs and trends
- Create graphics and data visualizations to communicate findings to clients and project teams
- Coordinate with national Campus Planning Team, institutional clients, and firm planners to align analytics with institutional goals
- Develop processes and tools to improve analysis efficiency and accuracy
- Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with architecture and interiors teams to ensure planning outcomes are reflected in design solutions
- Develop quantitative and qualitative space planning reference materials and benchmarks
- Support facility programming, digital tool development, and research initiatives
Education
- Bachelor's degree in any field (required)
- Master's degree in Campus Planning, Architecture, Facilities Planning, Higher Education Management, or comparable experience (preferred)
