  • Create compelling instructional content and experiences that help teachers and administrators make authentic connections to the power of Discovery Education.

Core Competencies for Success:

  • Inspire & Influence: Deliver compelling presentations that engage decision-makers and highlight Discovery Education’s impact.
  • Brand Representation: Lead thought-leadership events and workshops to position Discovery Education as a trusted digital learning partner.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships through strategic conversations that reflect deep understanding of district needs.
  • Strategic Storytelling: Create tailored presentations that differentiate offerings in competitive markets.
  • Partnership Alignment: Collaborate with districts to connect their goals with Discovery Education’s solutions.
  • Product Advocacy: Respond to evaluation criteria with clarity and confidence to showcase product strengths.
  • Content Development: Produce high-impact resources that support sales and elevate brand visibility.
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with sales and success teams to refine strategies and drive growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across product, marketing, and go-to-market teams to ensure message alignment.
  • Innovation & Growth: Lead initiatives that contribute to revenue generation and customer success.
  • Operational Excellence: Deliver timely, thoughtful responses to district needs through effective teamwork.

Credentials and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales environment with a strong understanding of sales team support and partner relationship management.
  • Proven ability to deliver compelling in-person and virtual sales and product presentations with deep product expertise.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and similar virtual collaboration tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Demonstrated initiative, urgency, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Knowledge of current industry trends and market research.
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Must reside in the Central region of the U.S. and be able to travel up to 75%.
