Position Summary
The Sr Director, People Strategy Transformation will be one of the senior members of the team responsible for driving our teammate experience strategy as DaVita as well as multi-year innovation and disruption of our people strategy and programs.
You will diagnose the toughest organizational challenges and, with your team, design creative and scalable solutions with a tech-enabled mindset. This role is critical for building the skills and capabilities required to plan, execute, and measure the impact of large-scale transformations within the People Team.
You will be responsible for helping set the strategic direction for this team, guiding project teams, collaborating effectively across the organization, and leading a portfolio of enterprise-wide projects.
Initiatives tackled by your team will eliminate friction in teammate journeys, create standout experiences, and ensure the People Team can adapt quickly to the evolving needs of our Village.
Core Responsibilities
· Define Our Transformation Strategy: Establish and maintain the critical principles needed to define and tackle the most complex organizational priorities impacting our team and Village today.
· Drive Strategic Initiatives: Provide oversight of the Transformation project portfolio, partnering with the team on project objectives, OKRs, and overarching direction. Tackle enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives designed to dramatically improve teammate experience.
· Diagnose & Solve Problems: Leverage a hypothesis-based approach and root cause analysis to identify, validate, and quantify opportunities for improvement; addressing key pain points like cost inefficiency and friction in teammate processes.
· Lead with Human-Centered Design: Apply human-centered design principles to include conducting employee experience research to understand teammate and business needs and inform solutions.
· Champion Change & Mange Stakeholders: Provide change management strategies, toolkits, and expertise to support transformation efforts across the organization and drive lasting adoption.
· Vision and Leverage Technology & Data: Champion a tech-enabled mindset, using data synthesis and storytelling to make the case for change and measure impact. Leverage technology to solve key inefficiencies and create opportunities to streamline and improve existing processes.
· Innovate & Experiment: Employ an agile development approach, using experimentation and prototyping to test and deploy disruptive solutions.
Key Qualifications & Capabilities
· 7+ years of progressive experience.
· Proven experience leading large-scale HR or People transformations.
· Effectively allocates and prioritizes team resources to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
· Takes accountability for results and motivates, coaches and develops team.
· Expertise in change management, stakeholdering, and the ability to develop strategies that build organizational resiliency.
· Comfortability presenting in a compelling way to executive audiences and effectively managing relationships with cross-functional partners and senior leaders to drive lasting adoption of new processes and tools.
· Strong capabilities in problem framing and root cause analysis to diagnose complex organizational issues.
· A disruptive and innovative mindset with a track record of using experimentation and agile methodologies.
· Exceptional ability in data synthesis and storytelling to influence stakeholders and drive decisions.
