Data/ Pricing Analyst
Overview
The Data Analyst is responsible for importing, cleansing, validating, and analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. This role focuses on improving data quality and supporting data-driven decision-making across departments.The analyst will consolidate and present information in charts, graphs, and tables, and may collaborate with management to align findings with organizational goals.This position represents a senior-level data analyst capable of mentoring junior analysts and contributing to continuous improvement in data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform data extraction, cleaning, and validation from multiple sources.
- Analyze large and complex data sets to identify correlations, trends, and variances.
- Conduct pricing analysis and reasonableness checks; make cost-related recommendations.
- Interface with suppliers to gather price quotes and validate pricing data.
- Collaborate with the Agreement Operations Support team to enhance materials and pricing data within contracts.
- Prepare detailed analytical reports and visualizations for management.
- Support data governance and continuous improvement of reporting processes.
- Mentor and train junior analysts when required.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in data analytics, procurement, or business operations required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formulas, etc.) required.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience performing pricing analysis and supplier data validation.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with business, operations, and procurement teams.
- Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background check and drug test.
