Skills
- Strong knowledge of internet technologies (OSI layers 1–7, TCP/UDP routing).
- DNS (authoritative and recursive), HTTP(S), and SSL/TLS expertise.
- Comfort with on-premises networking and legacy infrastructure.
- Familiarity with public cloud networking and architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Ability to use command-line tools, RESTful APIs, and browser web inspectors.
- Strong communication, relationship building, and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Drive technical discussions and solution design throughout the sales cycle (pre-sales and account technical leadership).
- Qualify prospects, discover technical requirements, and lead product demonstrations.
- Design and run proofs-of-concept (PoCs) and pilot implementations with customers.
- Onboard and train customers via remote sessions or in-person meetings; create supporting documentation.
- Advise existing accounts on technical best practices, feature adoption, and long-term strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support teams.
- Travel (approx. 30–40%) to meet customers, attend conferences, and collaborate with internal teams.
Education
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
- Relevant certifications or demonstrated equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.
