Senior Customer Solutions Engineer, Application Security

Cloudflare is a leading internet security and performance company powering millions of websites globally. They seek a Senior Customer Solutions Engineer passionate about internet technologies to support enterprise customers in maximizing the value of Cloudflare's platform.

Skills

  • In-depth understanding of internet protocols such as TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP and related security concepts including Firewalls, WAFs, Bot Management, Rate Limiting, (M)TLS, and Zero Trust.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical problems and providing proactive scalable solutions.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
  • Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong curiosity and passion about internet technology and ongoing industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor and product expert for enterprise customers throughout their lifecycle.
  • Guide customers in implementing Cloudflare products and services with a focus on complex environments and best technical practices.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams including Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support to resolve technical issues and escalate as needed.
  • Develop and deliver technical customer workshops and contribute to internal and external documentation.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and promote customer retention by communicating product or feature gaps.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing to improve the CSE organization’s success.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
