- Strong understanding of internet fundamentals (TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP/S).
- Knowledge of web security concepts (WAF, CSRF, XSS, SQLi, Zero Trust, SASE).
- Experience with performance and caching strategies for web and mobile applications.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and log analysis skills.
- Comfort with scripting or automation (Python, JavaScript, Bash).
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Project management and prioritization across competing demands.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead through pre-sales and post-sales engagements for mid-market and enterprise customers.
- Design solution architectures focused on security, performance and reliability (WAF, caching, delivery strategies, Zero Trust/SASE patterns).
- Perform technical demos, proof-of-concepts, and onboarding sessions via video conference and in-person when needed.
- Analyze logs and traffic to author firewall rules and mitigation strategies.
- Create and maintain customer-facing documentation, runbooks, and internal playbooks.
- Develop or adapt scripts/tools to automate customer tasks and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to advocate for customer needs and deliver scalable solutions.
- Provide long-term technical guidance to maximize customer success and product adoption.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant certifications or demonstrable hands-on experience in networking/security are a plus.
