Contract Negotiator, Procurement
Skills
- Proven ability to draft and redline commercial vendor contracts
- Familiarity with CLM/intake tools (Ironclad, Zip or similar)
- Strong knowledge of commercial contract law, data security, and privacy requirements
- Experience assessing vendor risk and negotiating risk-mitigating terms
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines
- Analytical mindset with focus on KPIs and process improvement
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate procurement agreements across technology, security, and data privacy domains
- Identify and mitigate contractual, legal, and commercial risks in partnership with Legal, Privacy, and Security
- Manage contract lifecycle from intake through execution and post-signature reviews using CLM tools
- Resolve contract-related disputes and maintain positive vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sourcing, Finance, Legal, Security, and business stakeholders
- Define and implement procurement contracting policies, processes, and KPIs
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal experience preferred
