About the role:
CLA is looking to hire a Clerical Timekeeper for our on-site Contract Services team in Pontiac, Illinois. Not only will you get top-notch training, but you'll also get a chance to work with the best group of people in the industry!
As a Clerical Time Keeper, you will:
- Review time reports, check the payroll system for irregularities and discrepancies, and assist with creating payroll documents for employees’ pay hours.
- Have excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office programs, email and database knowledge is necessary.
- You will be communicating frequently with supervisors and employees about employee pay hours. Great communication skills and a dynamic personality are highly desired for this interactive position in a factory environment.
What you will need:
- A successful timekeeper will be self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical ability & good computer skills.
- High initiative and the drive to work ahead when time allows is a successful trait in this position.
- The ability to organize tasks and prioritize work is essential to the efficient completion of daily work.
- Willingness to assist others as needed is very important.
- These talents along with your High School diploma will give you the tools needed for this rewarding opportunity.
- Workday experience is preferred, although not a requirement.

The wage range for this position is: $16.13 – $21.70 per hour
Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
