Consulting Staff Accountant

The ideal candidate will be a proven Bookkeeper comfortable with assisting multiple clients. In this role you should be a strong communicator and able to handle day-to-day activities, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work independently as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILTIES
Monitor and/or perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and recording of accounts receivables and accounts payable.
Prepare journal entries such as loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, sales tax, payroll taxes, and 401(k).
Monitor and/or prepare monthly financial statements and all supporting documents.
Credit card management and reconciliation.
Work in conjunction with our in-house Consulting Controllers and CFO’s.
Travel to clients up to 75% annually.
OTHER DUTIES and RESPONSIBILTIES
Authorized to work in the United States.
Prior hands-on accounting experience.
Administrative duties completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to work well independently and with a team.
Knowledge of various accounting software. QuickBooks online is a plus.
Quick adaptability, comprehension of new systems, processes, and procedures.
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment.
Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects with strict deadlines.
Positive attitude.
Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
Advanced computer skills.
