Skills: Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in career development for youth, strong project management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a preference for candidates holding HR experience.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree or 2 additional years of relevant experience is preferred, along with a commitment to youth development and excellent communication skills.
Location: The position is primarily based in Philadelphia, PA, with a hybrid work model requiring in-person attendance for at least 3 days per week.
Compensation: $70000 - $75000 / Annually

For the Career Development and Alumni Director role at City Year Philadelphia, we are excited to connect with candidates who are experienced and passionate about youth development for 18-25 year olds. The Director ensures that our ~150 City Year Philadelphia AmeriCorps members (or Student Success Coaches) from various backgrounds remain engaged during a rewarding and challenging service year and beyond. This role is responsible for developing and executing activities to support a powerful and meaningful service experience, Leadership After City Year (LACY), and Student Success Coach (SSC) alumni engagement. As a member of the Impact Director Team and the Site Leadership Team, the Director reports to the Managing Director of Impact. They are expected to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure that the sequence and planning of SSC support and LACY planning are aligned and practical. The Director cultivates and manages external partnerships that support these goals.
