Overview

Under the supervision of the IT Sr Strategist and at the direction of the Director of IT Operations, the Operations Analyst works closely with leaders and staff in Information Technology, Procurement and Finance etc."

An Operations Analyst, is responsible for identifying, accessing, managing, analyzing, and reporting data to support the needs of the Chief Information Officer. This position provides information dissemination to decision makers to support ongoing business operations, the implementation of improvement initiatives and the education of clinical and non-clinical operational leaders. Under the supervision of the IT Sr Strategist and at the direction of the Director of IT Operations, the Operations Analyst works closely with leaders and staff in Information Technology, Procurement and Finance etc.

This role supports the operational functions of IT. 

This is a remote role, but incumbent must live within the KC metro area.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with the Director of Business and Operations to analyze, interpret, present and make data-driven decisions using information from financial, human resources, and operational data systems.
• Supports clinical and non-clinical operational leaders in their use, interpretation and decision-making from analytical tools. Consults with operational leaders on best practices in accessing and using budget, human resources, productivity, and benchmarki
• Leads the application of new knowledge and innovation to advance improvements at the department, division, leader and organizational level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred and 3-5 years' experience in healthcare, medical records, or coding knowledge/experience. OR
• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience in healthcare, medical records, or coding knowledge/experience. OR
• High School diploma, or equivalent, and 7 or more years' experience in healthcare, medical records, or coding knowledge/experience in lieu of a degree

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $26.80/hr, but your salaried offer will be determined based upon your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
