Cengage Group is hiring a Customer Success Specialist to enhance customer retention and drive sales growth in a remote position based in the UT/NV region.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include achieving sales targets, providing customer support for digital solutions, and building consultative relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Skills: Applicants need a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relationship-based role, strong communication skills, and the ability to understand and leverage digital products.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a higher education environment is preferred, along with some direct sales experience.
Location: This is a fully remote position in the United States, specifically supporting customers in Utah and Nevada.
Compensation: $21 - $27 / Hourly

The Customer Success Specialist drives customer retention and sales growth through support of customers with their digital solutions, building consultative relationships to expose customers to additional digital solutions, and collaborating with internal partners and teams to deliver customer satisfaction. This role is accountable for applying sales skills, product knowledge, and analytics to align digital solutions to current customers’ needs and meet or exceed a sales goal.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
