Job Description

BusPlanner is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Revenue Operations Analyst to join our team. This junior role, ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of work experience, will work closely with our Operations and Sales teams to support various projects and streamline our existing processes. The Revenue Operations Analyst will play a critical role in tracking revenue performance, generating insights, and improving operational efficiency. This position requires a fast learner who can adapt quickly to new tools and processes, work effectively under high pressure, and maintain strong organizational skills.

This impactful position reports directly to our leadership team, comprised of seasoned SaaS executives with extensive experience in scaling businesses across North America.

This is a remote opportunity, and candidates are expected to work North American hours.

BusPlanner has a history of serving the education market and is favorably positioned to further penetrate the US market in the coming years.

As a successful Revenue Operations Analyst, you will:

  • Utilize analytical tools and business intelligence to track revenue performance and trends, providing actionable insights.
  • Generate regular reports and insights on key revenue metrics to assist in strategic decision-making and support the executive and sales teams.
  • Collaborate with the executive and sales teams to develop accurate revenue forecasts and projections.
  • Implement corrective actions to address gaps identified through analysis and feedback, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Improve existing processes by scaling and streamlining current systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support with the implementation of new tools to help scale the sales and marketing teams, ensuring they have the tools needed for success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and CX, to align requirements and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Quickly ramp up on various tools and processes to effectively support revenue operations.
  • Work North American hours and manage responsibilities under high pressure.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced Analytical Skills: Deep analytical toolkit to support across a range of projects, with strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Reporting Abilities: Experience in generating regular reports and providing insights on key revenue metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Problem-Solving: Capacity to implement corrective actions and continuously improve processes based on analysis and feedback.
  • Fast Learner: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools, ensuring efficient support for revenue operations.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to remain organized while managing multiple projects and working under high pressure.
  • Willingness to Learn: Enthusiasm for business-building, continuous learning, and professional development.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively handle high-pressure situations.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in analysis, reporting, and process improvements.
  • Team Player: Willingness to support various projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or similar roles, with a focus on operational improvement.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools and business intelligence software.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work remotely with a schedule that overlaps North American hours.
