We’re hiring a Finance Associate to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for updating, maintaining, and reconciling financials for small and medium-sized businesses on our internal valuation platform. You’ll conduct general accounting work on deals, including interpreting financial statements, performing reconciliations, and ensuring data accuracy across our systems.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance on strategic analyses, business operations improvements, and finance-related initiatives that help scale our processes and infrastructure. This role will also collaborate with the M&A team, Sales, and the Product team to ensure clean data, accurate valuations, and stronger handoff processes between teams.

Update, reconcile, and maintain financial statements and records for SMBs within our internal valuation platform
Perform general accounting work related to deals, including financial statement analysis, reconciliations, and data verification
Conduct and maintain valuation models and analyses for a wide range of small businesses
Collaborate with the M&A team to improve handoff processes, communication workflows, and standardized playbooks
Partner with the Product team to enhance the accuracy and automation of financial data processing and valuation tools
Interface with Sales and customer-facing teams to provide financial insights and support as needed
Support the Head of Finance with analyses, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts across Finance and BizOps
Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and valuation methodologies
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, valuation, investment banking, transaction advisory, public accounting, or related fields
Expert-level Excel / financial modeling skills; experience with valuation tools or platforms is a plus
Analytical and detail-oriented with a passion for solving complex financial problems
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
Experience working with SMBs or lower middle market businesses
Exposure to M&A processes, deal structuring, or financial product development
SQL or data analytics skills
