Strategic Account Manager

Braeburn is a mission-driven specialty pharmaceutical company focused on improving care for people with opioid use disorder (OUD). The Strategic Account Manager will own relationships with National Accounts, Telehealth Providers, Hospital Systems, and IDNs to drive product adoption, optimize patient access, and execute contracting strategies in collaboration with cross-functional partners.

Skills

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep knowledge of contracting, pricing, and reimbursement for specialty pharmaceuticals.
  • Experience with Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill distribution models.
  • Strong business acumen and data/analytics literacy to interpret KPIs and market trends.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and travel frequently.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for assigned National Accounts, Telehealth Providers, Hospital Systems, and IDNs.
  • Serve as primary relationship owner and trusted advisor for targeted accounts across multiple organizational levels.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure contracting and access opportunities to drive adoption and utilization of Braeburn products.
  • Monitor account KPIs, conduct quarterly business reviews, and adjust strategies to meet corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Trade, Government Affairs, Marketing, Sales Ops, Business Ops, and Medical Affairs to align account execution.
  • Coordinate with Regional Business Specialists and Key Account Managers to optimize pull-through and patient access.
  • Manage budgets and expenses and deliver performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, FDA labeling, REMS requirements, and applicable laws.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) required.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, MS) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50–60% nationally.
