The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join our Bulk Forecasting team in Hazlewood, MO.
You will be directly involved with bulk forecast proposal development including analysis of statement of work requirements, selection of appropriate estimating methodologies, rationale, substantiation of estimates, ensuring estimating system compliance.
The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, cross functional communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to work independently or as part of a team and adapt quickly to changing daily needs.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop forecast for labor material and travel bulk proposals
Analyze cost drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend mitigation actions
Collaborate with teammates, cross functional leadership, and other stakeholders
Develop monthly performance metrics
Support negotiations and defend proposals with data-driven rationale
Maintain estimating tools, templates, and historical cost databases and ensure compliance with company and customer requirements
Support audit and customer engagements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher
3+ years of experience preparing time, cost and/or labor estimates
3+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel application using formulas, lookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, etc.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master's degree (Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering or a related field)
Experience with Enterprise Accounting System reporting
Experience developing and analyzing forecasts
Proven understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Boeing Accounting Disclosure Statements
