BCB Dance Division Student Assistant
In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:
Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.
Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable.
A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester.
Federal Work Study student may apply.
In good disciplinary standing.
Must be located in the U.S.

The Dance Division Assistant works closely with members of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee (BCB) Dance Division on a variety of departmental initiatives, including program coordination, event planning, communications, administrative support, and other duties as assigned. This position operates in a hybrid format, with both in-person and remote responsibilities.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support for the Dance Division office.
Help update class schedules, rehearsal calendars, and studio reservations.
Assist with communication to students, faculty, and accompanists.
Support division events such as performances, masterclasses, and guest residencies.
Help with costume coordination.
Maintain organization of office supplies, classroom supplies, ice machines, files, and digital documents.
Assist with special projects or other tasks assigned by the Assistant to the Dean, the Dean or the Chair.
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with various platforms like Smartsheet and Google Suite (Google Docs, Spreadsheets, Drive, etc.)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Responsive and dependable
Enthusiastic team player who also works well independently
Fast learner
Ability to commit to a consistent weekly work schedule
