Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by a BCBA
- Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based ABA techniques
- Collect, record, and report data on client progress and behaviors accurately
- Follow behavior reduction strategies and ensure client safety during sessions
- Communicate with BCBAs, caregivers, and team members about session progress
- Attend required training, team meetings, and supervision sessions
- Maintain professional documentation and adhere to confidentiality requirements
- Perform physically active duties (standing, lifting, carrying up to 50 lbs) as needed
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness/ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Able to complete tuberculosis test if not done within the last year
