Service Sales Specialist

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Service Sales Specialist to support and grow our service business. This role will be instrumental in driving service revenue through strategic account management, field enablement, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, CRM systems, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Top Account Strategy: Manage and execute the Top Account strategy in collaboration with the Inside Sales Service Provider team.

  • Field Enablement: Train field associates on service offerings, including how to position and sell different service tiers effectively.

  • Lead Generation: Proactively engage with field teams to identify and generate new service opportunities.

  • Customer Conversion: Partner with US BDB Sales and Service teams to convert customers to service agreements.

  • Deal Support: Serve as the escalation point for BDB Sales and Service teams when negotiating deep discounts on large or non-standard deals.

  • System Super User: Act as a super user for SFDC, SMX, and SAP, supporting data integrity and process optimization.

  • Reporting & Analytics: Generate service history, installed base, and ad hoc reports to support business decisions.

  • Sales Tools Development: Create and maintain sales tools and materials to support service sales efforts.

  • Revenue Forecasting: Assist with monthly revenue variance analysis, mid-month forecasts, quarterly forecasts, and pricing projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required

  • 3+ years of experience in service sales, sales operations, or a related role required

  • Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC), SAP, and SMX preferred.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.

Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates’ progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles.
$95k-$119k - Base + Incentive

For most roles, we require a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations, while also recognizing the importance of flexibility and work-life balance. Remote or field-based positions will have different workplace arrangements which will be indicated in the job posting.

For certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
