Account Executive, Mid City

Axon is a mission-driven company focused on public safety and justice through an ecosystem of devices and cloud software. We are seeking a results-oriented Account Executive to sell Axon products to law enforcement customers across an assigned territory, managing full-cycle sales, follow-up on inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and product demonstrations while traveling frequently to engage customers.

Skills

  • Full-cycle sales and territory management
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM
  • Strong outbound prospecting and lead generation skills
  • Ability to deliver effective product demos remotely
  • Comfort with frequent travel (50-70%) and field engagement
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Quota-driven with demonstrated sales attainment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales plans including outbound prospecting, lead generation and field engagement
  • Manage inbound leads and fulfill orders, quotes and lead-time requests
  • Identify decision makers and advance sales opportunities through the full sales cycle
  • Maintain and expand CRM records (Salesforce) with accurate prospect and account data
  • Provide product demonstrations via phone and web conferencing and emphasize the Axon ecosystem
  • Attend industry conferences and trade shows to build industry relationships and expertise
  • Report on forecasts, sales targets and market conditions to sales leadership
  • Coordinate order changes and communicate updates with cross-functional teams

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience required
  • Sales-related training or certifications a plus
  • Comfortable with continuous professional development and training participation
