We’re looking for a dynamic founding operator to join Arcade as our Head of Finance & Strategy and be critical connective tissue on our team. On the one hand a great strategist but on the other hand a scrappy entrepreneur, you’ll be the key right-hand financial and strategic partner to the CEO—shaping our business model and culture, acting as a key strategic sounding board to our CEO, owning operations tasks and functions, entirely owning our finance function, and driving cross- functional business execution.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in finance and strategy—someone who has worked in top-tier consulting and finance environments and is now eager to apply those skills to build something real, fast-moving, and impactful. You’ll need to be just as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are in a cross-functional team meeting, and just as interested in market sizing and GTM experiments as in performing entry-level HR and finance tasks.
WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO
Strategic Finance. As the only finance member of our team, you’ll own strategic finance, investor relations, financial projections and forecasts, fundraising, cap table management and setting budgets for each member of the leadership team.
Corporate Strategy. Work hand-in-hand with the CEO to define the strategic roadmap, shape our commercial vision, and ensure we’re focused on the highest-leverage opportunities.
Business & Revenue Model Development. Play a lead role in developing and evolving Arcade’s revenue model, pricing strategy, and GTM motion. Help the company validate traction and prepare for Series B fundraising. Own and drive key rollouts of business strategy.
Business Development. Own sales and partnership work for the company, including driving all contracts and negotiations.
Operational Excellence. Own all core administrative functions—including Finance, HR, Legal, and Facilities—overseeing a team of fractional contractors to get the job done.
Fundraising Support. Own key components of our board and investor communications. Help prepare materials for future fundraising, especially our upcoming Series B.
Cross-Functional Leadership. Act as a project manager across the company. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Product, and Creative teams to execute experiments, follow-up with colleagues to drive outcomes, measure outcomes, and refine strategies in real time.
Vendor & Partner Management. Build relationships with key vendors, consultants, and partners across finance, HR, and legal to keep the business running smoothly.
Hiring Strategy & Team Planning. Partner with leadership to map future headcount needs, define org structure, and drive an operationally sound hiring plan.

You have 3–8 years of experience in strategy and finance. Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, venture capital, private equity, or other financial role required.
An MBA is preferred.
Previous experience in business operations or general management roles, ideally with direct P&L ownership or GM responsibilities.
You have deep familiarity with consumer marketplaces or e-commerce platforms, and an understanding of what it takes to build both the supply and demand sides of a consumer product.
You are highly data-driven and analytical—comfortable building models, crafting dashboards, and distilling data into insights. You use metrics to inform strategic decisions.
You are a clear and persuasive communicator, capable of influencing across all levels of the organization—including the CEO, board, and external partners. You can translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives.
You understand community dynamics and how to nurture genuine connections at scale.
You have a strong understanding of how to design and execute go-to-market motions in early- stage environments.
You’re energized by solving messy, open-ended problems with clarity and structure.
