- Experience in enterprise Pre-Sales or client-facing advisory roles with measurable quota/regeneration success.
- Hands-on familiarity with modern programming languages and technologies (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, SQL).
- Ability to design solution architectures and map Appian into larger technical ecosystems and production environments.
- Experience leading RFx/RFP technical responses and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales to design and deliver executive-level presentations, demos, and business cases that articulate ROI and strategic value.
- Act as the technical lead during complex RFx/RFP processes and multi-stakeholder procurement engagements.
- Co-create solution architectures and roadmaps with customers, translating FS business problems into Appian-based solutions.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer teams to ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture and production requirements.
- Mentor junior consultants, contribute to repeatable demo assets, and capture presales learnings to improve solution offerings.
- Travel to customer sites (up to 50%) to support workshops, pilots, and enterprise rollouts.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications or continuing education in enterprise architecture, cloud, or financial services (preferred).
