Social Community Manager

Apollo.io is a fast-growing, AI-native go-to-market platform serving revenue teams at startups and large enterprises. We're seeking a high-energy Social Community Manager to lead engagement across social and community platforms, translate conversations into product and marketing insights, and grow authentic advocacy for Apollo.

Skills

  • Deep familiarity with Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, and X
  • Strong written communication and tone adaptation across channels
  • Community moderation and advocacy development
  • Comfort with tools like Sprout, Notion, Figma, and Airtable
  • Ability to translate community conversations into actionable business insights
  • Scrappy creativity and comfort with real-time engagement

Responsibilities

  • Lead community engagement across owned and external platforms to expand brand awareness and foster meaningful connections.
  • Build and maintain Apollo’s presence on TikTok, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube through real-time responses and proactive conversations.
  • Manage and grow Apollo’s presence on Reddit, including strategy, moderation, and advocate development.
  • Represent Apollo in external communities (e.g., Women in Sales, Modern Sales Pros) to spark consideration and credibility.
  • Identify and surface UGC, product feedback, and thought-provoking conversations to internal teams.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to involve subject-matter experts when authentic engagement is needed.
  • Host community-driven experiences like AMAs, Q&As, and beta sneak peeks and recognize meaningful contributors.
  • Track and report on trends, sentiment, engagement, and community-driven traffic and conversions.
  • Help define strategy for Apollo-hosted spaces (Slack or future platforms) to deepen connections and feedback loops.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred or equivalent practical experience
  • Ongoing learning mindset with curiosity about AI and automation tools
