About the Role

We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help bridge the gap between design and production. In this role, you’ll develop the processes, tools, and infrastructure that ensure our hardware is built efficiently, reliably, and at scale. You’ll collaborate closely with hardware, test, and operations teams to turn engineering designs into production-ready assemblies.

You take pride in creating efficient, scalable systems that ensure every product leaving the line meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.

• Design and implement test processes for hardware assembly and validation.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to incorporate design-for-manufacturability and testability principles.
• Develop scalable production systems that meet high standards for throughput, cost, and quality.
• Lead facilities and workflow planning, including floor layout and material flow optimization.
• Identify and implement tooling and equipment needs using internal resources or external vendors.
• Develop and maintain production documentation, including work instructions and MES databases.
• Continuously improve manufacturing efficiency through automation, data analysis, and process optimization.

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment — through professional, academic, or project-based experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, test development, and process documentation.
• Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams including hardware, test, and operations.

• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced engineering environment.
• Background in scaling hardware products from prototype to high-volume production.
• Experience integrating automation or data-driven improvements into production workflows.
• Familiarity with PLM, ERP, MRP, or MES systems.
• Hands-on experience designing or implementing production tooling and fixtures.
