- Electrical test equipment design and functional test development
- Schematic Capture and PCBA layout (Altium Designer experience a plus)
- Programming/scripting in C, C++, C#, Python, MATLAB; LabVIEW experience preferred
- Hardware communication protocols including USB, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, PCIe, CAN, etc.
- Measurement analysis techniques like Gage RR and Process Capability Analysis
- Hardware-software integration testing processes
- Source code revision control (GitHub preferred)
- Lab safety protocol knowledge
Responsibilities
- Lead end-of-line test plan development for new products and features in collaboration with design teams
- Determine test strategies focusing on safety, reliability, risk mitigation, and schedule optimization
- Design and execute PCBA and electrical component testing with hands-on rework as needed
- Analyze test data and collaborate with engineers to resolve product issues
- Design next-generation test automation hardware systems for fast, repeatable testing
- Manage purchasing, building, integration, and commissioning of functional testers
- Develop test procedures and automation from component to system level
- Support board bring-up, bench validation, and manufacturing test yield improvement
- Provide feedback on Design for Test (DFT) to improve quality and coverage
- Participate in design reviews and cross-functional collaboration
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required
