Skills
- Expertise with Yocto Project tools and layers (BitBake, OpenEmbedded Core).
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Strong Linux system administration and shell scripting (Bash) skills.
- Hands-on deployment experience on ARM and x86_64 embedded targets.
- Yocto build optimization techniques such as sstate-cache and download mirrors.
- Technical documentation and training abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement automated Yocto-based CI pipelines for custom Linux OS images.
- Develop and maintain CD pipelines targeting ARM (Nvidia Jetson) and AMD64 hardware platforms.
- Create a Proof-of-Concept for an A/B partition update strategy or equivalent OTA mechanism.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation and conduct training sessions for internal teams.
- Ensure smooth handover and knowledge transfer post-project completion.
Education
- Degree is secondary to proven experience but typically a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
