On our team of experienced professionals, you’ll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions.

You’ll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solution components. You’ll have the chance to work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal AWS environment, you’ll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients’ problems, and you’ll partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you’ll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

You Have:  

• 5+ years of experience in assisting with designing, implementing, and managing AWS IAM policies and roles to enforce least-privilege access

• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control such as GitLab, and DevOps practices

• 5+ years of experience with AWS services, including S3, EC2, or ELB

• 2+ years of experience with working in Agile Scrum environments

• Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation, or IAC tools

• Ability to work independently and in teams

• TS/SCI clearance

• HS diploma or GED

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), and Security+ Certification

  

Nice If You Have:  

• Knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks, such as NIST, CCSP, DoDAF, or UAF

• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week

• Bachelor's degree 

• Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification

• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, Kubernetes Administrator, or Certified Terraform Associate Certification

Clearance:   

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
