Senior Manager - Electrical Engineering

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company focused on transforming military capabilities through advanced technology. They are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Manager to lead development of critical vehicle subsystems, including motion control and battery management, and to manage a team delivering hardware solutions supporting robotic systems.

Skills

Hands-on experience with analog and digital electronics, PCB design, and embedded applications.
Proficient with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design automation tools.
Knowledge of Python and C/C++ programming languages.
Experience with standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB.
Competent in using test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, and automation of tests.
Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and avionics design standards for UAVs.
Familiarity with MCU, CPU, FPGA devices and technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead the avionics program from concept through production, developing core avionics systems for air vehicles.
Create and communicate detailed product development schedules to ensure timely task completion.
Design high reliability, resilient, and fault-tolerant flight architectures collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Develop and execute design verification test plans and verify avionics system test coverage on flight hardware.
Perform full cycle PCB and LRU design including schematic design, component selection, layout supervision, testing, debugging and integration.
Develop system interconnect diagrams and define cables and wire harnesses connecting vehicle electronics.
Manage fabrication, assembly, and BOM with PCB, cable, connector, and component vendors.
Support software and firmware teams with understanding of flight controls, sensing, payload integration, power management, and networking.
Represent avionics system in vehicle-level trade-off studies to optimize architecture and implementation.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
