- Expertise in PCBA manufacturing and IPC standards.
- Proficient knowledge of SMT processing, CAD, and GD&T.
- Strong technical understanding of supplier quality and industrialization practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage PCB/PCBA category supplier production from NPI to full production.
- Evaluate supplier facilities and capabilities for inclusion on the Approved Supplier List.
- Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure supplier compliance to quality criteria.
- Lead new production tooling and line development at supplier sites for performance and quality.
- Manage capacity expansion and production ramp-up readiness with suppliers.
- Establish process performance reviews (SPC) at supplier locations.
- Identify and drive product/process improvements to reduce costs and defects while mitigating supply risk.
- Support root cause analysis and closure of corrective/preventative actions in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
