Senior Hardware Quality Engineer
Skills
- Expertise in quality management systems, statistical process control, and regulated environments (ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Experience with product development methodologies including FMEA, Change Management, and APQP.
- Hands-on proficiency with mechanical and electrical metrology tools.
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards and testing for cooled IR imaging products.
Responsibilities
- Drive improvements in product design, manufacturing, and supplier quality to enhance reliability.
- Ensure compliance and sustainability of Quality Management Systems aligned with AS9100 certification.
- Use data-driven methods to evaluate and track product quality and reliability across suppliers and manufacturing.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions both internally and with suppliers.
- Support development and maintenance of raw material supplier inspection and incoming inspection programs.
- Manage MRB activities and contribute to supplier evaluation and qualification.
- Conduct containment, audit, and disposition of defective materials or quality escapes.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
