Staff Software Engineer, (MR)
Skills
- 8-10+ years in game development, computer graphics, or real-time simulation
- Strong proficiency in C++ or C# and experience with graphics APIs (DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan)
- Experience with shader programming and multi-threaded rendering pipelines
- Proven ability to work in large codebases and deliver solutions on short timelines
- Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize game engine components tailored for mixed reality and real-time simulation
- Optimize rendering pipelines, physics simulations, and multi-threaded systems for high-performance immersive experiences
- Prototype experimental MR concepts and evaluate emerging technologies to advance engine capabilities
- Integrate mixed reality sensors, displays, and spatial mapping into engine pipelines
- Translate mission requirements into scalable technical solutions in partnership with product, hardware, and warfighter SMEs
- Act as technical advisor and visionary for the business line, setting direction and technical standards
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in code quality, performance testing, and architecture
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
