Skills
- Proficiency in one or more: Go, Rust, C++, Python (Go preferred)
- API design experience and Protobuf expertise
- Experience building and operating CI/CD and automated testing pipelines
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and network topology design
- Comfort configuring and troubleshooting Linux-based systems
- Experience with SITL/HITL testing methodologies and automation
- Strong written and verbal communication and cross-team collaboration
- Ability to navigate ambiguous, multidisciplinary integration problems
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Develop interconnect code between vehicle and system components using Rust, Go, Python, and C++
- Design, build, and automate CI/CD pipelines and testing infrastructure to increase developer velocity
- Architect and implement network topologies, overlays, and communication links for distributed systems
- Develop and expand SITL (software-in-the-loop) and HITL (hardware-in-the-loop) testing and automation
- Mature development infrastructure automation, observability, and release processes
- Implement security and safety controls to satisfy customer and contractual requirements
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams and with customers to deliver integrated system capabilities
- Travel up to 10% to support field builds, tests, and deployments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent industry experience
- Relevant industry experience in systems or embedded software is highly valued
