As an Engineering Manager for Software Composition Analysis, you will lead a team building customer-facing tools that help developers secure software from vulnerabilities introduced by dependencies. You will balance technical leadership with people management, mentoring engineers while shaping the roadmap for impactful, user-focused security products. This role involves collaborating closely with product and design partners to prioritize work, make strategic decisions, and ensure the team delivers high-quality solutions. You will help streamline supply chain security, reducing noise for customers and focusing attention on vulnerabilities that truly matter. The role combines hands-on technical involvement with leadership, fostering a culture of trust, creativity, and accountability. Success requires both a passion for secure software development and a desire to grow and empower your engineering team.

Accountabilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing coaching, feedback, performance reviews, and career development guidance.
• Work closely with product and design teams to define the team roadmap, prioritize initiatives, and balance short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals.
• Establish and maintain an environment of trust, creativity, and ownership, encouraging risk-taking and innovative problem-solving.
• Drive the recruitment of diverse, high-performing engineering talent to continuously strengthen the team.
• Participate in technical design discussions, contribute code when necessary, and ensure adherence to best practices in software development and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key customer problems and translate them into actionable product features.

·         Minimum of 3 years of product management experience in fast-growing tech environments, preferably in Enterprise SaaS.

·         Demonstrated experience leading and shipping complex, high-impact products with a track record of handling trade-offs and overcoming obstacles.

·         Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build trust, influence cross-functional teams, and empower colleagues.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable in a rigorous writing and feedback-driven culture.

·         Customer-focused mindset with a passion for translating business problems into practical product solutions.

·         Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to derive insights and inform decisions.

·         Technical fluency to engage with complex design and implementation challenges, including AI-powered automation and workforce management systems.

·         Competitive base salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and skills.
