- Software engineering practices: design, testing, optimization, and analysis
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and implement high-performance software spanning embedded/tactical systems and web applications.
- Develop and apply machine learning, signal processing, estimation, and control algorithms to real-world missions.
- Use modeling and simulation tools to quantify system performance and iterate on designs rapidly.
- Participate across the full software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, optimization, and deployment.
- Engage with customers to translate mission requirements into technical solutions and ensure successful integration.
- Mentor team members, drive technical direction, and contribute ideas to a small, fast-moving team.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or related technical field (transcripts requested)
- Academic coursework or projects demonstrating strength in algorithms, signal processing, machine learning, and systems
- Advanced degrees (MS/PhD) are preferred but not required
