Skills
- Proficiency in Rust, Go, or Python
- Strong fundamentals in networking, including SDWAN and SDN
- Experience with control plane development and data processing architectures
- Familiarity with tactical radio systems and RF parameters (e.g., SNR, capacity)
- Knowledge of transport-level encryption and network policy deployment
- Experience in defense or military environments and ITAR familiarity
- Ability to obtain or possess required security clearances
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software components for Anduril Connect SDWAN, emphasizing advanced traffic shaping and prioritization.
- Develop link observability and characterization layers to assess tactical radio metrics (e.g., SNR, capacity) for decision-making.
- Integrate Anduril Connect with third-party SDWAN/SDN network gear to ensure seamless operation in diverse operational environments.
- Extend traffic prioritization beyond basic levels to support fine-grained shaping of specific traffic types across channels.
- Use the Distributed Service Bus (DSB) to enrich data streams with context and filter low-priority traffic.
- Implement flexible EMCON policies to manage electromagnetic signatures.
- Enable plug-and-play functionality on Menace platforms for immediate, robust connectivity upon activation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Menace, networking, and product teams to align technical strategy and integration.
- Engage directly with military and defense customers to gather requirements and ensure ITAR/security compliance.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred but not required
