Responsibilities
- Define and own the roadmap for software testing initiatives including HIL and flight testing for Group 1-3 drones (Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, Altius).
- Ingest and consolidate test needs from TRS software groups into system-level objectives, test plans, and measurable success criteria tied to V&V.
- Autonomously execute ambiguous or broad requirements across multiple programs to deliver test outcomes on schedule.
- Coordinate and run frequent test events from full-software and hardware-in-the-loop simulations to flight tests and demonstrations at test sites.
- Automate capture and organization of test data to inform engineering evaluation and V&V decisions.
- Drive improvements toward continuous integration and increased test coverage for the software organization.
- Partner with engineering leaders to align technical roadmaps, staffing, and program execution across teams and departments.
- Manage cross-team dependencies, remove obstacles, and resolve systemic execution issues requiring broader initiatives.
- Create and maintain efficient communication of program status, risks, and mitigations to stakeholders.
- Propose technical alternatives at the architectural level and ask clarifying questions to align priorities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline (required)
- Advanced degree (Master’s) preferred but not required
